We are seeking suitable candidate for the position of Senior SQL Server DBA with extensive experience in large and critical enviroments for a company delivering technology-driven solutions that drive digital transformation for banks, broker-dealers, asset and wealth managers and public companies.

Your Responsibilities:
- Planning for production storage and capacity management
- Create logical models and build physical models
- Installing and managing SQL server – all versions (2008, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019)
- Configuring and administering of databases across the datacenters
- Resource governing MDW migrating SQL server from On-premises to cloud managing database
- Creating databases from the ground up design implement and operate database systems for performance and reliability
- Upgrade SQL Server from legacy version to latest versions
- Applying patches and service packs to SQL Server
The requirements:
- Communicative knowledge of English or German (at least B2 level)
- Good knowledge of SQL server internals and architecture
- Hands on experience on windows issues monitoring and troubleshooting
- Hands on experience on SQL clustering
- Demonstrate experience of working effectively with clients and internal teams to resolve issues
- MS SQL server experience in designing, coding and delivering database applications
- Operations automation with scripting - PowerShell
- Experience in configuring and maintaining the performance of large/critical MS SQL Server database applications
- Experience in writing and debugging complex SQL Stored Procedures
- Good knowledge in T-SQL scripting
- Good exposure in Database and SQL performance tuning , troubleshooting and resolving database issues conforming to client compliances and expectations
- Hands On experience with integration services, reporting services and analysis services
- Good experience in all HA DR solutions
- Good to have experience in cloud technologies like AWS, Azure etc.
- Experience of working within a controlled ITIL environment with good understanding of control processes and procedures
