Sr. Assistant, Accounts Receivable - Kladno

We are looking for motivated and knowledgeable Sr. Assistants to join our Accounts Receivable department in our Business Service Operations unit in Kladno, Czech Republic.

The Accounts Receivable (AR) department interacts with great parts of the LEGO organization and therefore holds an important role within the Business Service Operations (BSO) covering Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

The overall purpose of the department is to enable the business to fulfil maximum customer orders with the lowest possible risk. It is to ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables, and in addition mitigate credit risk and risk associated to sales activities through efficient, global and standardised processes.

Timely and efficient team player
The Sr. Assistant will become part of the newly established BSO. The Sr. Assistant collaborates with different stakeholders internally and externally and performs various operational tasks. The Sr. Assistant contributes to the overall success of the LEGO business by delivering high-quality execution of the AR processes and stakeholder management, and thereby enables the BSO to succeed in delivering value to the overall LEGO business.

Knowledge of credit and collection Modules (in our SAP system), to provide info to the sales team to decide on credit limits and to prioritise the collection efforts on customer accounts

You will be expected to:
Engage in establishing a high-performing AR department in the new BSO
Form new collaborate relationship with internal and external stakeholders and thereby ensure sustainable implementation of the global AR processes in EMEA

But also managing basic execution of AR processes in a timely, efficient and accurate manner, including
Ability to release or cancel orders according to policies to maintain compliance
Interact with Order to Cash process including Order Management, Allocation, Sales, Customer Logistics, IT and Distribution
Be in contact with our customers related to late/missing payments

You will need passion and drive, as well as:
High school graduation or a BA degree
2-3 years of professional working experience, preferably in a related financial role or a position where capabilities are transferable
Analytical, detail - and high-quality oriented
Experience in working in highly collaborative environments
Microsoft Office at experienced level
SAP knowledge is an advantage
English at advanced level is a requirement
Do you have language skills within one or more of the following languages, this will be a must: German, Turkish, French, Italian and/or Spanish/Portuguese
